At City & Essex we understand that we have a greater responsibility to deal with the problems of Health and Safety because, through our years of experience, we know what they are. From top to bottom, the ethos of the company is to recognise and then deal with the issues.
The process at City & Essex is organic – Health & Safety is not bought in but dealt with internally through our own highly qualified personnel. Site specific risk assessments, method statements and COSHH are prepared for all clients and are constantly evaluated.
We have structured our integrated risk management system to encompass training through NVQ’s, IOSH and COPC. We are long standing members of the Safe Contractor Scheme and are also working towards BS OHSAS 18001.
Health & Safety in the cleaning industry can also be a major issue where English is the second language. Our innovative induction DVD in 18 different languages ensures that our Duty of Care to our staff as well as our clients is protected.
