A warm welcome to our new Apprentice Phoebe Newton who has joined City & Essex's Customer Service Team at our Head Office.
This year has brought many necessary changes within our Head Office to ensure we provide the same level of service to our growing client portfolio. One of these changes was hiring the passionate and hard working Phoebe, who is completing her Level 3 in Business Administration apprenticeship whilst taking on her new role in Customer Service.
Our Apprenticeship programme is an important way for us to support talented young people, build their careers and to encourage new generations of expertise and innovation.
We caught up with Phoebe to hear about her experience working at City & Essex so far:
What are your responsibilities?
My Responsibilities in Customer Service vary on a day to day basis. One of my main duties is managing my clients accounts. This involves processing purchase invoices, the creation and distribution of sales ledgers and organising contractors work schedules and access to client sites.
What do you like / dislike about your role?
I enjoy working with management to ensure the smooth running of operations on site and administrator at head office as this allows me to meet and work with different people. There isn’t much I dislike about my role, some people don’t like the variety of my job role but I think it keeps me on my toes and ensures I never get bored.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am heavily involved in my local church and enjoy hosting youth events and socials. I am famously known to be a foodie and enjoy dining and trying new and interesting foods. I am a social butterfly so in my spare time you’ll never find be sitting down, I am always up and about trying to find something new to do.
We wish Phoebe the very best of luck as she starts her exciting new career with City & Essex.
